Quest training sessionWe offer a range of training courses from half-day workshops for leisure professionals with no prior knowledge of Quest, to two-day workshops for senior leisure professionals who want to become Quest Internal Assessors.

We also offer bespoke in-house training and support services that can be tailored to meet your organisation's specific needs.

Quest Internal Assessor course - Facility Management

A two-day course for senior leisure professionals to become a Quest Internal Assessor. This course is also an ideal personal development tool in delivering excellence within your organisation using the latest Best Value practice techniques. The workshop is best run “in house” to maximise the effectiveness.

Specific course outcomes

  • the expertise to act as Quest Champion/coach for your organisation
  • the skills to carry out reviews of your organisation's progress in relation to Quest
  • the knowledge and ability to co-ordinate your organisation's self-assessment and performance review programme
  • the skills to perform mystery visits
  • the skills needed to validate completed Quest self-assessments
  • understanding of how to relate Quest to the requirements of best value for your organisation

Course Structure

This course will be an intensive, informative and enjoyable two days. Delegates work in small syndicate groups, undertaking group exercises, presentations and carrying out a mock Quest Assessment.

Delegates are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the Guidance Notes prior to attendance, this is available to download here.

Quest kick-start workshops - Facility Management/Sports Development

A one-day workshop for leisure professionals who are seeking to implement Quest within their organisation. The workshop will provide organisations with the skills and knowledge to confidently implement Quest through the practices of self-assessment, performance review and use of benchmarking.

Specific workshop outcomes

  • enhanced understanding of the Quest criteria in the context of your organisation
  • understanding of how to implement self-assessment, performance review and use of benchmarking in your organisation
  • firm understanding of the principles of continuous improvement and Quest's role in assisting the delivery of best value
  • knowledge of how to prepare your organisation for Quest registration in the future

Style of workshop

This workshop will combine presentations and group work in an informal and interactive style. A prior understanding of Quest would be an advantage.
